1. the app must implement as least one of the protocols that allow it to interoperate with (other) federated micro-blogging apps; OStatus, Diaspora (protocol), ActivityPub etc

2. the app must allow the following between its users and users of at least one other federated micro-blogging apps;

   • follow
   • be followed
   • post a reply
   • receive a reply
   • repost
