# OpenGD77
|
|
Firmware for DMR transceivers using the NXP MK22 MCU, AT1846S RF chip and HR-C6000 DMR chipset. Including the Radioddiy GD-77, Baofeng DM-1801 and Baofeng RD-5R.
|

# Project status
|
|
|
|
## IMPORTANT
|
|
Unfortunately due to unforseen problems with the software license, it is no longer possible to create and distribute the firmware.
|
|
|
|
This is basically because the firmware is comprised of approximately 30% sealed binary from the official Raddioity firmware, which makes it incompatible with the license.
|
|
The 30% sealed binary is equired to sidestep potential license issues with the DMR codec
|
|
|
|
As the continued development is not possible, all files except the User Guide and technical docs and some tools and drivers have been removed.
