The behaviour of `has_usable_password` has changed in Django 2.1, such that `None` is no longer considered a 'non-usable' password: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/2.1/ref/contrib/auth/#django.contrib.auth.models.User.has_usable_password
As a consequence of the fix applied in Django https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/28718 , Wagtail users created without a password will now be able to complete the password reset process to gain access to Wagtail. Sites that do not want this behaviour (e.g. because those users should be using an LDAP login instead) should disable password changes via WAGTAIL_PASSWORD_MANAGEMENT_ENABLED and WAGTAIL_PASSWORD_RESET_ENABLED.

Added "find" API view and ability to find pages by HTML path
...
This implements a new "find" view for all endpoints which can be used
for finding an individual object based on the URL parameters passed to
it.
If an object is found, the view will return a ``302`` redirect to detail
page of that object. If not, the view will return a ``404`` response.
For the pages endpoint, I've added a ``html_path`` parameter to this
view, this allows finding a page by its path on the site.
For example a GET request to ``/api/v2/pages/find/?html_path=/`` will
always generate a 302 response to the detail view of the homepage. This
uses Wagtail's internal routing mechanism so routable pages are
supported as well.

Fix issues with 'Customising generated forms'

The 'Customising generated forms' example contains a few issues that might confuse those who are copy/pasting the code.
1. No reference to the `geocode` library and where it comes from, added imports and revised API usage
2. `location = models.CharField()` requires the `max_length` attribute set
3. `FieldPanel('title')` added to content panels, otherwise testing this out causes error because no title or slug exists
These issues were flagged in #3737

Fixes #3706 . These options restore the ability to create users with no password set on the Django side, for setups where authentication is managed externally (e.g. LDAP) - this was inadvertently dropped in Wagtail 1.10 when the form validation was tightened up (#3007 ). Additionally, the password fields can now be removed entirely, to enforce the use of an external auth setup.

Adds support for custom date and datetime formats ( #2595 )

It is possible to set default format for date/datetime inputs. This works together
with standard django localization.
# django settings
USE_I18N = True
LANGUAGE_CODE = 'sl'
# wagtail settings
WAGTAIL_DATE_FORMAT = '%d.%m.%Y.'
WAGTAIL_DATETIME_FORMAT = '%d.%m.%Y. %H:%M'
DateBlock, DateTimeBlock accepts additional keyword argument `format`.

This is the correct lexer for interactive console sessions, according to
<http://pygments.org/docs/lexers/ >. This does require command lines to
be prefixed with `$`, otherwise they are interpreted as the output of a
command. It highlights the command nicely, including environment
variables, strings, and comments.

There's no indication in Elasticsearch's docs that this wouldn't work on Elasticsearch 1.x. However, we found that the new configuration isn't reliable on Elasticsearch 1.6 and below (causes the test_query_analyzer test to fail randomly).
* Implemented new way of representing content types in search index
Instead of using a long string of model names that is queried using a
"prefix" query, we instead use a multi-value string field and query it
using a simple "match" query.
The only reason why this isn't implemented in the Elasticsearch 1.x
backend yet is backwards compatibility
* Added another child model of SearchTest with clashing field mapping
This checks that the namespacing of fields on child models is working properly (if it doesn't the update_index tests will fail)
* Added tests for get_model_root function
* fixup! Added tests for get_model_root function
* Docs updates for Elasticsearch 2 support
Also tweak examples to use elasticsearch2 backend by default
* Test against Elasticsearch 2 on travis

Removed all uses of STATIC_URL from code samples, replaced with static().
...
Concatinating with settings.STATIC_URL is no longer reccomended for creating
URLs to static resources, because it doesn't take the configured storage engine
into account. For example, a site using S3 to store its static files will need
static URLs that link out to S3, rather than relative URLs within the same
domain.
I replaced it with django.contrib.staticfiles.templatetags.staticfiles.static()
in python example code, and the {% static %} tag in template examples.

In Django 1.9+ if you do not add: 'builtins': ['overextends.templatetags.overextends_tags'], to your TEMPLATES section you will receive a TemplateSyntaxError when the overextends template files are rendered: "Invalid block tag on line". Including 'builtins': ['overextends.templatetags.overextends_tags'], per the overextends docs (and experience) resolves this error.

Normalise all code blocks in the docs

All `.. code::` instances have been changed to use `.. code-block::`,
and have been properly formatted. The syntax names have been normalised,
so all django templates use the `html+django` syntax, shell commands use
`sh`, and plain text uses `text`.
