Can´t say anything abaut your test kernel since I got a standard 2.0.36.<br>
|
||

||
But at first my Astra1220s worked fine under Windoze but my CD-Burner didn´t work. Under Linux<br>
|
||
the burner worked but I sometimes had system-freeses when I used the scanner.<br>
|
||

|
||
I figured out that the SCSI-bus was to long. After switching the cable it´s OK.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
I´ve got an oldfashioned Adaptec 2940 which should according to the manual support a total<br>
|
||
BUS-length of 6m.<br>
|
||
Well, it doesn´t. The problem occured with about 4 m.<br>
|
||
