Can<EFBFBD>t say anything abaut your test kernel since I got a standard 2.0.36.<br>

But at first my Astra1220s worked fine under Windoze but my CD-Burner didn<64>t work. Under Linux<br>
|
|||
|
|
the burner worked but I sometimes had system-freeses when I used the scanner.<br>
|
|||
|

I figured out that the SCSI-bus was to long. After switching the cable it<69>s OK.<br>
|
|||
|
|

|
|||
|
|
I<EFBFBD>ve got an oldfashioned Adaptec 2940 which should according to the manual support a total<br>
|
|||
|
|
BUS-length of 6m.<br>
|
|||
|
|
Well, it doesn<73>t. The problem occured with about 4 m.<br>
|
|||
|
