I have seen such behavior on even SCSI-II systems if passive terminators<br>
|
||
were used (not with a scanner). Switched to active terminators and the<br>
|
||
flakiness went away. I read somewhere that the SCSI-II (and I presume<br>
|
||
SCSI-III) standard requires active termination. I figure it's worth the<br>
|
||
$3-4 difference to eliminate at least that as a possible source of<br>
|
||
problems.<br>
