Hmm / checked it out ... it says :<br>

OCR <br>
|
|

The current version of SOCR does not provide an actual OCR engine, it is<br>
|
|
basically a set of stub routines. <br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
If you install KDE/Qt and test the KDE UI you'll get a feel for how the<br>
|
|
system will work, but for now, that's all. <br>
|
|
