Hi ,

<P> I have downloaded sane 1.0.3 (that includes the SANE interface sanei_pa4s2
|
|
<BR>
|
|
and the backend sane-mustek_pp) and xsane 0.60 .
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P> I have done in the sane 103 directory : ./configure
|
|
<BR>
|
|
make
|
|
<BR>
|
|
make install
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P> everything is OK , sane is compiled and installed.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P> When i look in the makein , dll.conf .... files the options for sanei_pa4s2
|
|
<BR>
|
|
and mustek_p are ok
|
|
<BR>
|
|
(i have deleted the # before mustek_pp and replaced lp1 by lp0 )
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P> but my scanner (lifetec (aldi) LT9891on parallel port isn't dedected).
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P> When i type scanimage -L , it shows nothing.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
When i type scanimage , it shows no device found.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P> Xsane refuses to be compile , make gives an error 1 "file sane preference.h
|
|
<BR>
|
|
not found".
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P> What should i do now ?

<P> Is there something to configure, a module .so to load ?

I am a beginner with Linux ?

tool but it seems to be for the scusi scanners...
