edit sane-1.00/backend/Makefile and remove in<br>
PRELOADABLE_BACKENDS = abaton agfafocus apple artec canon coolscan \<br>
<p>
the word abaton, then enter sane-1.00 and do<br>
make<br>
and as root<br>
make install<br>
<p>
