My own plans are not very ambitious for the next couple of months as<br>

I'll be busy working on another free software project (which I can't<br>

someone else taking over. I have no plans on "sitting" on SANE,<br>

preventing others to do good things with it.<br>

Yes, I am indeed waiting for GIMP/GTK 1.0 to happen. At that point,<br>

we should put together sane-0.99, test it, and then release a fixed<br>
|
|
version of it as sane-1.0.<br>

Hugo> So 1.0 would be the official one. bugfixes will result in<br>

Hugo> 1.0.1, 1.0.2 and so on and development will be done with<br>
|
|
