>>>>> On Wed, 25 Feb 1998 14:26:28 +1100 (EDT), Graham Stoney <greyham@research.canon.com.au> said:

Graham> Now the introduction to SANE at
Graham> http://www.mostang.com/sane/intro.html says that "it would
Graham> be pretty straight forward to access SANE devices through a
Graham> TWAIN source", so my question is this: has anyone tried to
Graham> use SANE to provide shared network scanner access to Win95
Graham> applications behind a TWAIN Source?

As far as I know, the answer is "no". There is nothing heretical
about this question, though. It would do SANE only good if it could
be used on Win32 as well. Interoperability is a plus for users and
free software alike.
