<P>Did that - in fact those are the programs that I've been using all along.

There seems to be a difference between the two models. I've got the

|

|
|
firmware uploadable one, and have to upload it each time electricity
|
|
<BR>
|
|
fails... Now I've put the upload in the rc.local file. All this works fine,
|
|
<BR>
|
|
as does grayscale and line art scanning. The problem is color. I'm game
|
|
<BR>
|
|
to try anything - I believe I tested most combinations possible, and some
|
|
<BR>
|
|
I invented too ;-)
|
