suggest calling this sane-frontend/. It should be a complete

distribution on its own.

<P>This way there is only one subdirectory to check out for developers,

and we could easily make tree distributions, one with everything and

two for the backends and frontends.

<P>The other alternative is to make a new subdirectory parallell to

|
|
sane/, but then people would need to check out two CVS trees.

<P>BTW: Is there really anyone using xscanimage and xcam? I use xsane

when I want to scan something, and scanimage when I want to test
