Some other information that may be of use....<br>
<p>
I'm using SANE 1.0.1. It was configured just with --enable-shared and no other <br>
options.<br>
<p>
The strange this is that in the sane libs directory (/usr/local/lib/sane) <br>
there's only statically linked files (.a) and no dunamically linked files...<br>
<p>
Maybe I did have an option enabled that should've been?<br>
<p>
The only other thing I changed from the defaults was to add -lcam to the <br>
Makefile in the tools directories.<br>
