Ahem - I may sound a bit heretic here, but :<br>

Who actually needs that ?<br>
<p>
What sense does it make to tune options in the middle of a scan ?<br>
<p>
Do you want to produce a fade-effect by sliding the brightness slider<br>
during the scan ? If so, I'd suggest you seek help at either an image <br>
manipulation program or a therapist.<br>
<p>
What is wrong about waiting for the scan to complete and then set the new <br>
options ? Do you need the 2 seconds you save ? Or do you want to scan<br>
triangle shaped areas by adjusting the width ?<br>
<p>
Sorry, but I do not understand this thread. Someone enlighten me, please !<br>
