Hi Oliver

>
>
> Hm,
> xsane-0.35 should be ok - which libtiff and jpeglib versions do you use?

./usr/lib/gnulibc1/libjpeg.so.6.0.1
./usr/lib/gnulibc1/libjpeg.so.6
./usr/lib/libjpeg.so.6.0.1
./usr/lib/libjpeg.so
./usr/lib/libjpeg.a
./usr/lib/qt/include/qjpegio.h
./usr/lib/libjpeg.so.6

./usr/lib/gnulibc1/libtiff.so.3.4.33
./usr/lib/gnulibc1/libtiff.so.3
./usr/lib/libtiff.so.3.4.33
./usr/lib/libtiff.so
./usr/lib/libtiff.a
./usr/lib/libtiff.so.3

>
>
> I use libjpeg.so.6.0.1
> in /usr/include/jpeglib.h:
> /#define JPEG_LIB_VERSION 61 /* Version 6a */
>
> and libtiff.so.3
> in /usr/include/tiff.h
> #define TIFF_VERSION 42

Those are the exact specifications I've got on my system.

I am kind of missing the whole thing. I also tried to install sane-1.0.1-2 as
rpm format. In this case it complains about libjeg.so.62 but I managed to
compile sane-1.0.1 from tgz file!!!!

Does anybody have the lastest version of sane, xsane, libjeg and libtiff (
compatible, of course) in rpm format?

Many thanks

Eduardo
