Most backends AFAIK _do_ some sanity checks before sending device specific<br>
|
|
commands. I.e. they usually do an inquiry and check if the HW strings match<br>
|
|
what they expect.<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
For additional protection, you might be able to wrap up the applications<br>
|
|
in scripts, that do checks with /proc/scsi/scsi.<br>
|
|
