Most scanner manufacturers assume that you will be using the SCSI<br>
card that they include with the scanner, and they have verified<br>
that it works with the card and cable in the box. My UMAX scanner<br>
actually included a pass-through terminator, but I definitely get<br>
the impression from talking to other scanner purchasers that this<br>
is the exception, not the rule.<br>
<p>
I guess they figure that if you are supplying another card and<br>
maybe other cables, that you can supply the terminator as well.<br>
