There are - unfortunately - several SCSI connectors in use:
25-pin Dsub (looks like a wide serial connector): Avoid them whenever
possible; they are for the old SCSI-1 standard, have a
frequency limitation and can possible cause trouble if
            mixed with other (modern) equipment
50-pin Centronics (the standard parallel printer connector): for
             SCSI-2, but now phased out.

The modern ones are
HD50 50-pin, rather narrow needles, for 8-bit SCSI-types
HD68 68-pin, same style for wide SCSI

... and because some companies want to make some extra profit, there
is a VHDCI (very high density connection interface), IBM-C60, and
IBM-C68.

Unless you have an Ultra-160-SCSI interface, you will most likely
need an HD50 or HD68 cable. You can look up cables and connectors
at online shops (www.transtec.de, www.misco.de, ...).

Regards,
