<P>I heard that a lot of people have problems with ide-scsi.o and

SANE. I just got an IDE CD-burner and was interested if I get the

same problems. I did several tests and have not had any problem
|
|
<BR>
|
|
with that.

|
<P>My configuretion is the floowing in /etc/conf.modules:
|
|

|
|
alias scsi_hostadapter ncr53c8xx
|
|
<BR>
|
|
pre-install sg modprobe scsi_hostadapter
|
|
<BR>
|
|
post-install scsi_hostadapter modprobe ide-scsi
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P><P>So the ide-scsi driver is loaded after the ncr53c8xx driver.
|
|

|
|
I do not know if that changes anything.
|
