<P>If your scanner says a4s2 all over and it's connected to your parallel
<BR>
port, it should be just another version of mustek's a4s2-chipset. to
<BR>
make your scanner work with sane you'll &quot;just&quot; have to disassemble the
<BR>
windows-vxd, and rewrite it as a sane-backend. Perhaps Donnchadh can
<BR>
help you with his experiences concerning this chip and you can compare
<BR>
the disassembling with the sane-backend from jeff - your chipset
<BR>
shouldn't differ to much from the other models...
