Is changing the permissions on the sg device the best way to go,<br>
especially since that gives everyone write permission to a scsi device?<br>
If you're sure that it will always be the scanner then I guess it's<br>
okay....<br>

What I did was to make xsane SUID. This leaves it's own problems....<br>
