My HP ScanJet 5p has a scan button on the front.  I've seen several<br>
other scanners with one or more<br>
buttons.  Is there anyway to detect the scan button being pressed in a<br>
program using the sane<br>
API?   I've found one program that does something like this using low<br>
level scsi commands<br>
specifically for HP scanners.   I would like a better way of doing this.<br>
