I'm not very sure about it, but sometimes it helps when specifying<br>
|
||
the scanner type and device explicitly on the command line, e.g.:<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
xscanimage hp:/dev/sge<br>
|
||
xscanimage epson:/dev/scanner<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
...or something like this.<br>
|
||
I've used a HP scanner here at the office some very few times and there<br>
|
||
were inconsistensies in the hp.conf and in the dll.conf files I think.<br>
|
||
Maybe anyone else on this topic...<br>
