there is an update of the hp-backend available.Changes: <br>
|
||

||
- Reset scanner before downloading parameters (fixes problem<br>

||
with sleep mode of scanner) <br>
|
||
- Fix problem with coredump if non-scanner HP SCSI devices are connected<br>
|
||
(CDR) <br>
|
||
- Option scan-from-adf replaced by scantype normal/adf/xpa.<br>
|
||
Transparency adapter scans (XPA) allow scanning with internal<br>
|
||
light source switched off. <br>
|
||
- PhotoScanner: Allow scanning of slides/negatives only at multiple of<br>
|
||
300 dpi.<br>
|
||
This fixes problem with preview which scanned at arbitrary<br>
|
||
resolutions. <br>
|
||
- (by Marian Szebenyi): close pipe (coredump on Digital UNIX) <br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
At the web site there is a patch against Sane 1.01 and the complete<br>
|
||
hp-backend<br>

||
