many thanks for the suggestions; I finally upgraded gimp & glib & gtk, this was<br>
|
||
doing the stuff, I could luckily compile what I wanted.<br>
|
||
However, there's another question I would appreciate to have an answer to:<br>
|
||
how can I tell ximage about it's window's size like for example<br>
|
||
/usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/Xscanimage by setting such parameters as<br>
|
||
Xscanimage*geometry: 1024x478+12+100<br>
|
||
? There was an hint about /usr/share/sane-style.rc, but boy, boy it isn't too<br>
|
||
easy to understand what should be configured in which manner.<br>
|
||
If you can give me a pointer to any sheet of documentation, many thanks in<br>
|
||
advance!<br>
