Im seeing some really strange input from my Artec 6000C Plus flatbed=20
scanner. Im using SANE 1.0.1 and RedHat Linux 5.2, with an Adaptec=20
aha1542.
I recompiled the kernel to use the larger buffer size in the dg.h=20
file. I also recompiled the sane distribution. =20
When I try to scan or preview I get several bars than about the first=20
inch of the scan. It then stair steps this part from left to right=20
and down until it fills the entire input window, 8.5 x 14. The scan=20
ligh never goes past the first inch or so. It seems to think all=20
went well and the scanner even re-homes the bulb. I can't for the=20
life of me figure this one out. I had this setup working about a year=20
ago under sane .5x or .6x, or something like that. =20
Im fairly sure its not the scanner as I had it working under NT and=20
95 before I decided to dump Microsoft for Linux.

Thanks
Ron Burton
