kernels is working. I see that mouse and keyboard support is in there. Disk<br>
|
||
support is being worked on. I don't see anything about scanner support, yet.<br>

Would a SCSI over USB software bridge make it easy to create a back end for<br>
|
||
the Umax 1220-U? If so, what form would that software take: Linux Device<br>
|
||
Driver or included in the SANE Back End for the scanner, or what?<br>
|
||

||
Would the command set be the same for the USB version of the scanner as the<br>
|
||
command set for the SCSI version of the scanner?<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
Would it be most correct to simply call the Linux USB device driver (for<br>
|
||
what? generic USB device?) from the SANE Back End for the scanner?<br>
|
