 Hi Rene,<br>
 <p>
 remove the 'hp:' from the hp.conf file. With SANE 1.0 this file should<br>
 only<br>
 have one line like<br>
 <p>
 /dev/scanner<br>
 <p>
 <p>
 And the device /dev/scanner should be a link to your scanner device<br>
 /dev/sgXYZ which itself should we read/writeable for all.<br>
