Hi,<br>
|
||
After visiting the SANE site and reading the <br>
|
||
information there I downloaded glib, gtk+, gimp and sane<br>
|
||
and installed them. I got some errors a few times before <br>
|
||
I succeeded ( i think ) in getting it done.<br>
|
||
I bought a Mustek SE6000SP scanner after finding<br>
|
||
it was one of the few scanners available locally<br>
|
||
which were not brain dead. Having noted the warning<br>
|
||
about the SCSI Card which come with it I bought an<br>
|
||
Advansys 2930U PCI card. I already have an <br>
|
||
Adaptec 1542 Card in my PC which has my hard disc<br>
|
||
and CDRom Drive hanging off it. My Advansys card<br>
|
||
sees the scanner as device 1 SCANNER ver 1.0<br>
|
||
scanimage reports no Sane devices found.<br>
|
||
Can someone please tell me how to get it working?<br>
|
||
btw find-scanner does not find it.<br>
|
||
