Hello,

this is just to let you know I'm currently using SANE on a PC running Linux
RedHat 5.2 with two SCSI scanners: a 35mm Canon CanoScan 2700F and a
flat-bed Epson GT-7000 Photo. I had no problems with both rel 0.74 and 1.00
of the SANE package.
I'm also interested in knowing if there are plans to improve the SANE
backends for these scanners with more controls (curves etc.).
Thank you and best regards
Ruggero Valetti
