Thanks to those who answered. For those who don't remember, I had<br>
|
|
linking problems with xscanimage. I have two installations of gtk on my<br>
|
|
machine: 1.0.6 to compile gimp and 1.1.? for gnome. Fortunately, I<br>
|
|
installed both in separate directories since they need to coexist. My<br>
|
|
linking problem came from the fact that /usr/local/include was first on<br>
|
|
the gcc compilation line. That path contained the newer include files<br>
|
|
(for 1.1.x) but I was linking to the older libs (1.0.6). I changed the<br>
|
|
order of the include files and voila!<br>
|
|

|
|
Thanks to all of your good work, I can now scan from Linux instead of<br>
|
|
having to use that other OS. Now, as soon as I can understand gamma<br>
|
|
stuff, I'll be on my way!<br>
|
|
