To enable the Domex DTC3181E SCSI card (with the DTCT-436P chip on it)<br>
you can use the generic NCR5380 module in the kernel.<br>
To active it use the kernel option (&lt;port&gt; was 0x2c0 for me).<br>
<p>
dtc3181e=&lt;port&gt;,0<br>
<p>
and - unlike windows - don't forget to turn the scanner on when <br>
booting up linux.<br>
