what is documented (or at least what i have found) is that trying to scan<br>
|
||
beyond the available height will cause problems because mustek scanners do<br>
|
||
not check for maximum height, nevertheless the documentation goes on that<br>
|
||
this should not happen for know models (like mine). but this is not the<br>
|
||
problem (setting some maximum range), the problem is that without<br>
|
||
backtracking (10 times slower than without) the scanner actually does more<br>
|
||
scanning that told (and the image is distorted due to this fact).<br>
