O.K. - does it have any jumpers ? Do you need to enter an adress for the<br>
|
|
win software ?<br>

In that case it is probably not plug&play, and chances are, you can just<br>
|
|
insert the driver using insmod sym53c416 io=the_address_you_give_to_win.<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
Does your (PNP) BIOS identify the card ?<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
In that case, try isapnptools. This package has quite clear documentation,<br>
|
|
but make sure you read _all_ of it.<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
If it is found by the pnptools, you can configure the cards ports, irq, ...<br>
|
|
You will probably have to pass those parameters to the module just as<br>
|
|
above, then.<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
If nothing else helps, send me the driver source, so I can find out a little<br>
|
|
about the variables you _can_ set at all.<br>
|
|
