Hi,<br>
|
||
the problems are:<br>
|
||
- total system crashes (the console, X and the network are dead, the<br>
|
||
only way to get the system up again is to reset it...)<br>
|
||
- color inversion: When preview in halftone or lineart mode,<br>
|
||
the results are inverted, and after switching to 24bit color the colors<br>
|
||
are inverted. Using 8bit gray sets the scanner to "normal" colors.<br>
|
||

Does anyone here use the Microtek TMA? <br>
|
||
Is yes: Is the "interface" to the scanner simple (switch type) or<br>
|
||
complex (electronics)? <br>
|

PS: Linux 2.0.34, x86, NCR810, no other SCSI-devices other than the<br>
|
||
scanner on the SCSI-bus, Termination active on Hostadapter and scanner,<br>
|
||
sane 0.73 with microtek2 backend, no crashes before installing the<br>
|
||
scanner.<br>
