I have written the umax-driver, and as far as I see the Astra 1200S<br>
|
|
is a good choice. The umax-driver works fine with it and the scanner<br>
|
|
is ok, I think (but I don't own one!).<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
You know that the scsi-card delivered with the scanner is not supported<br>
|
|
by linux? I suggest you get a NCR/SymbiosLogic 8XX Card, that is<br>
|
|
support fine! If you do so, use the NCR-BSD-8XX-Driver!<br>
|
|
