Hello,

Does anybody know the Scanner Mustek Scanexpress 12000SP?
It seems to be quite new since Mustek USA and Mustek Taiwan
don't mention it on their website. Windows-Drivers are available
from www.mustek-europe.com. An alternative name is 1200 III SP.
I purchased the scanner last week in germany and did a little debugging with SANE and the Mustek backend but didn't get any result; the scanner doesn't seem to be compatible to any other Mustek scanner. (e.g. the SCSI inquiry-data says its a " C06 S12ID" or something like that..).
Does anybody plan to write a backend for this scanner?
If not, where can I get informations about this model for programming
a backend?

Any help would be appreciated!

Klaus Stetter
