I asked someone at Microtek USA Tech Support and the reply was:<br>

"Vobis used to carry a Highscreen model which was the SM II. Currently <br>
|
|
they are carrying both E3 and E6 scanners under the HiScreen name so I<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
do not exactly if it's an E3 or E6."<br>
|
|

|
The way to tell is "see if the unit returns a model code of 'Scanner' .<br>
|
|
If so it's an E3. If it returns<br>
|
|
'Scanner 600' it's an E6."<br>
|
|
