This sounds like you have configured with the LD-command enabled. I seems to <br>
|
|
me many of the SP series scanners do not like it. Try to configure with<br>
|
|
./configure (without the -disable-ld-distance fix).<br>
|
|

This is in the README ... You need to increase SCSI timeout, as thze scanner<br>

will not disconnect for long times.<br>

You seem to have problems with the LD correction. Please try all possible <br>
|
|
combinations of LD-options (./configure with/whithout --disable-ld-fix<br>
|
|
and tweak the source to use/not to use the alternate correction).<br>
|
|
It is important that you power off the scanner between tries. The LD command<br>
|
|
makes some scanners "go mad" which will cause weird effects until a power-cycle<br>
|
|
is applied.<br>
|
|
