This would be good. The pbmscan backend is not the only driver that will<br>
show such a behaviour. Handscanners are the same (though it makes no sense<br>
here to do a preview), but you can never know the length of a scan.<br>
The same is true for several "Feeder-Type" scanners (what is a good english<br>
word for those scanners ?) ...<br>
