Trust EasyConnect 9600

Someone just gifted me a Trust EasyConnect 9600 scanner, and so far (I used SANE
1.0) I've been unable to configure it.

The hardware list doesn't include it, so I'm assuming it is not supported.

As I have some experience with device drivers in general, and scanners in
particular, I would like to offer my help if such a driver is being done, either
as coder os as a tester.

If it isn't, could anyone on the list point me to the appropiate resources to
start coding a driver?
