ok, i've seen some mention of the Acer 620s on here but not the 310s. i've<br>
|
|||
|
|
tried the snapscan backend for the 620, however i have had little success.<br>
|
|||
|
|
both my card and scanner are recognized, but when i scan the resultant<br>
|
|||
|
|
image is unrecognizable. when viewing a preview sometimes part of the<br>
|
|||
|
|
image (near the top) can be recognized, but then it degrades and becomes a<br>
|
|||
|
|
complete mess. even when i can see part of the preview the final image is<br>
|
|||
|
|
unrecognizable. i'm using redhat 5.2 with kernel 2.2.12 and have tried<br>
|
|||
|
|
scanimage, xscanimage, xsane, all with the same result. if there is<br>
|
|||
|
|
another backend i should be trying or if anyone has other suggestions i'd<br>
|
|||
|
|
be interested in hearing them. thanks, <br>
