Hi!

I am tryinf to write a backend for the AVISION AV630CS-scanner.
After some hassles with the parameters of SCSI-commands and
a dance with dosemu under linux, which was hacked by a friend
of mine to listen to chats on the SCSI-bus this evening the
scanner does move its lamp some micro millimeters (YEAH!)
and then locked the whole SCSI-bus. I had to power down (!)
my limnux box. To all SCSI-harddisc it couldn't be write to.
Damned!

Does anyone out there knows about some things I could try
to avoid those dead-scans?

It /seems/, that the scanner could not send its data...but
unfortunately -- I am not the scanner....sigh.
Any help VERY appreciated!

KEEP HACKING!
