I was trying to research the Canon 2700F to see if that is a good film<br>
|
|||
|
|
scanner to buy, but I think that scanner is no longer available either.<br>
|
|||
|
|
I think it is replaced by the Canon FS2710.<br>
|
|||

Does anybody know if the FS2710 works, and/or is good?<br>

Fred: I like the idea of getting the Coolscan, but I also like the idea<br>
|
|||
|
|
of getting it working under Linux. The current Coolscan driver is a<br>
|
|||
|
|
reasonably complicated driver. I don't think I'd like to attempt this<br>
|
|||
|
|
whole project alone. Do you think you want to work on this and get the<br>
|
|||
|
|
specs? Otherwise I'll probably ending up going with the PhotoSmart.<br>
|
|||
