I bought a HP ScanJet 6100C yesterday and am trying to get it to <br>

work with linux.<br>
|
|||

|

|||
|
|
I already have a Adaptec 2940UW card but the external connector is wide.<br>
|
|||
|
|
Is it possible to connect a non wide device to a wide connector with some<br>
|
|||
|
|
sort of special cable?<br>
|
|||
|
|
<p>
|
|||
|
|
Or is it a better sollution to use the Symbios card?<br>
|
|||
|
|
In that case how do I get it to work?<br>
|
|||
|
|
I have tried the NCR53c400 and the NCR53c406 driver.<br>
|
|||
|
|
With the NCR53c406 driver it says "No port found".<br>
|
|||
|
|
What is wrong?<br>
|
|||
|
|

|
Anybody else got this SCSI card to work?<br>
|
|||
