<P>I have tested the sane (0.73) package on SGi for the UMAX Mirage

IIse scanner. I found out that the scanner stopped to function after setting

|||

the scanned area larger than 3.9 MByte (independent of length, width or

|||
|
|
resolution values).
|
|||
|
|
|
|||
|
|
<P>Bebugging shows me:

<P>umax_reader_process: unable to get image data from scanner
|
|||
|
|
|
|||
|
|
<P>What can be the problem with this type of scanner?
