I installed sane-0.74 with dll.conf containing all of the available<br>
|
|||
|
|
scanners, as it is installed fresh from compilation. My only scanner<br>
|
|||
|
|
is a Umax 1200S. When I run xscanimage with no arguments, xscanimage<br>
|
|||
|
|
hangs. If "apple" is commented out in dll.conf, the select device<br>
|
|||
|
|
window pops up, as expected. In previous versions of sane, it was<br>
|
|||
|
|
safe to leave dll.conf unchanged. I suspect an unmodified dll.conf<br>
|
|||
|
|
should continue to work. I don't know whether to blame Umax and apple <br>
|
|||
|
|
for this problem.<br>
|
|||
|
|

|
By the way, the problem exists with and without the sane-umax-0.74b<br>
|
|||
|
|
patch.<br>
