Oh I'm lame. It really helps if you unlock the lamp on the scanner.<br>

Also that error message I was getting was for UMAX users...really<br>
|
|||
|
|
confusing for a newbie like me...perhaps the message should<br>
|
|||
|
|
say "is currently an unrecognized UMAX device" or quitely fail<br>
|
|||
|

like the other back-end seem to do. Please read the following<br>
|
|||
|
