smartconfig Example

This example shows how ESP32 connects to a target AP with ESPTOUCH.

How to use example

Hardware Required

Download ESPTOUCH APP from app store: Android source code iOS source code is available.

Configure the project

idf.py menuconfig

Build and Flash

Build the project and flash it to the board, then run monitor tool to view serial output:

idf.py -p PORT flash monitor

(To exit the serial monitor, type Ctrl-].)

See the Getting Started Guide for full steps to configure and use ESP-IDF to build projects.

Example output

  • Make sure your phone connect to the target AP (2.4GHz).
  • Open ESPTOUCH app and input password. There will be success message after few sec.
